To support this, the refueler is outfitted with highly accurate digital flow meters and programmable logic controllers that interpret signals and manage valves in real time.Spill containment features extend beyond the fuel path itself. Drip trays and catch basins are placed below key connection points. Any minor drips are captured and then drained into a segregated waste tank for proper disposal. The vehicle may also carry absorbent materials, portable berms, and sealants to respond immediately in the rare event of a leak on the apron.Safety systems include emergency stop buttons accessible from multiple sides of the vehicle, grounding reels to prevent static discharge, and bonding cables to equalize potential between the refueler and the aircraft. Fire suppression equipment, such as extinguishers and in some cases fixed foam systems, is mounted in easy-to-reach locations. Warning lights, audible alarms, and clear labeling ensure that ground personnel can operate the refueler under varying visibility conditions.From an operational standpoint, the anti-spill jet fuel refueler is engineered for both ramp efficiency and regulatory compliance.
