3 Product Features and Advantages

3.1 Special Vehicle Chassis

(1) The vehicle chassis adopts a special chassis with the main advantages as follows:
  • Integrated and coordinated design and manufacturing of the chassis and upper body, specially built for water sprinklers. The upper body and chassis are designed in an integrated way, with the layout planned in advance, assembly space and interfaces for upper body components reserved, without damaging the chassis structure and anti-corrosion performance.

  • Integrated thermal management.

  • Coating process: Electrophoresis is adopted for the coating of all structural components of the vehicle, ensuring that the structural components will not corrode for 6-8 years, with higher durability and reliability.

  • Three-electric system: The matching design of the three-electric system is based on the operating conditions of the water sprinkler. The working state of the vehicle during operation is extracted through big data analysis, so that the power system always operates in the high-efficiency zone, achieving high efficiency and energy saving.

  • Informatization: Real-time monitoring of the whole vehicle informatization; big data of upper body operation; accurate grasp of vehicle usage habits to improve management efficiency.

3.2 High Safety

(1) Battery
  • High protection grade: The battery has a protection grade of IP68, reaching the advanced level in the industry.

  • Lithium iron phosphate system, high-strength aviation aluminum profile box body, only smoke without fire under thermal runaway of double cells; the maximum temperature is 50℃ under full-charge acupuncture test.

  • Real-time battery safety monitoring: Real-time monitoring of single cell voltage value; real-time monitoring of system total voltage value; monitoring of battery pack charging and discharging current; monitoring of battery module temperature; detection of battery system insulation performance; monitoring of other high and low level signals; charging and discharging control according to the requirements of the whole vehicle system and battery status; accurate calculation of the remaining state of charge of the power battery.

(2) Motor
  • High protection grade: The motor has a protection grade of IP68, reaching the advanced level in the industry.

  • Protection functions: Instant shutdown protection functions to prevent the main body from being damaged in case of over-temperature, overload, phase-to-phase short circuit, ground short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, overspeed, sudden load change during operation, etc.

(3) Electric Control
  1. Adopting an integrated four-in-one controller with 8 high-voltage connection points.

  2. The protection grade reaches IP68.

(4) Driving Safety Aids
  • 360° Surround View System: Realizes all-round visibility through four cameras located at the front, both sides and the rear of the vehicle. It is convenient for drivers to drive and park by visually monitoring the surrounding conditions of the vehicle, avoiding inconveniences caused by blind areas, and also has the function of a driving recorder.

  • Hill Start Assist: When the vehicle is on a ramp and the gear is in the driving gear, the vehicle will activate the hill start assist function, control the motor to enter zero-speed control, and realize the hill start assist function.

(5) Other Safety Protections
  • Equipped with a low water level alarm switch, which issues a voice alarm when the water tank is at a low water level, and the motor runs at a reduced speed at the same time.

  • Valve non-opening protection function: The motor will not start when the operation nozzle valve is not opened, preventing pipeline pressure build-up and damage to the motor and water pump.

  • High-speed protection function: When switching operation functions at high motor speed during operation, the motor runs at a reduced speed to protect the valve from damage caused by excessive water pressure.

  • Motor speed regulation function: The motor speed can be reduced when encountering pedestrians or waiting at traffic lights during operation to protect pedestrians.

3.3 Fast Charging

  • Ultra-fast charging: Equipped with a single-gun fast charging socket, it only takes 30 minutes to charge from SOC 30% to 80% (ambient temperature: ≥20℃, charging pile power ≥150kW).

3.4 Ease of Use

  • EPB: Electronic Parking Brake.

  • Cruise Control: Cruise control at 5—90km/h.

3.6 Large Loading Capacity

4 Introduction of Special Devices

4.1 Tank

  1. High-quality tank material:
    The water tank is welded with high-quality carbon steel. Tank size (Length × Major Axis × Minor Axis): 4500×2350×1450mm, cylinder thickness 4mm, head thickness 5mm.
  2. CAE stress analysis:
    The tank adopts an elliptical structure. Based on actual working conditions and stress conditions, a comprehensive CAE simulation test and analysis are carried out, making the tank structural design more scientific and reasonable.
  3. Automated production process:
    Produced by an automated welding line, with high-precision automated production operations replacing manual operations, the tank welds are uniform and consistent, and leak-proof for a long time.
  4. Advanced anti-corrosion process:
  • The tank adopts the international standard electrophoresis process, which can form a dense anti-corrosion film on the tank surface for long-term use.

  • The inner wall is treated with imported environmental protection anti-corrosion paint for longer durability.

  • High-temperature baking paint process: The tank painting adopts the baking paint process, making the paint combine more closely with the electrophoresis anti-corrosion film.

  1. Good structural strength:
    An anti-surge mechanism is set inside the tank to reduce the impact of clear water in the tank on the front and rear heads of the tank during the operation of the water sprinkler and enhance the rigidity of the tank.
  2. Safety design:
    An anti-vortex device is installed at the bottom of the tank. During the operation of the vehicle, the water level in the tank will drop continuously, forming a deep vortex at the water outlet. At this time, part of the air will be sucked into the water pump, resulting in unstable water pump flow, poor operation effect, increased noise, and even cavitation which affects the service life of the water pump. The installation of this device can prevent the formation of vortices, improve the utilization rate of clear water and extend the service life of the water pump.

4.2 Rear Platform

  • Composed of underframe, guardrail, pedal, etc., the overall dimension of the platform is 1500×800mm, which can place operation tools such as water pipes and water guns.

  • The guardrail is made of φ32×2/Q235A steel pipe with a beautiful shape and protective cross bars.

  • The connection between the guardrail and the platform, the connection between the steps, the reel and the girder are all bolted for easy maintenance.

  • The boarding pedal is a two-stage anti-skid step, located on the right side of the vehicle near the tail of the tank, with a firm and reliable installation position.

4.3 Side Protection

The side protection adopts an integrated design with an apron structure, made of Q235 and bolted, with a neat, concise and integrated appearance.

The side protection can be optionally equipped with an aluminum alloy cross bar structure, bolted, which can achieve lightweight, simple assembly and easy manufacturing.

4.4 Waterway Operation System

  1. Working principle of the whole vehicle (low-pressure water pump system):
    A custom-developed low-pressure water pump drive motor drives the low-pressure water pump to generate high-flow water with a certain pressure. The front duckbill nozzles, counter flushing nozzles and rear sprinkling nozzles are used to realize road flushing and sprinkling dust suppression respectively. The rear greening water cannon, front remote control water cannon (optional) and upper and lower spray devices (optional) are used to realize road and wall flushing, emergency fire fighting and other functions.
  2. Water pipes are uniformly galvanized steel pipes; main water pipe specification: φ76mm, water inlet pipe specification: φ89mm, operation waterway pipe specification: φ60mm.
  3. Standard and optional functions:
  • Standard configuration: Front duckbill, counter flushing, rear sprinkling, greening water cannon.

  • Optional configuration: Rear side spray, upper and lower annular spray, front remote control water cannon, self-priming pipeline.

  1. Low-pressure cleaning and sprinkling system:

  • The low-pressure water pump has excellent performance. The low-pressure waterway uses a cast iron water pump with a flow rate of 50 m³/h and a lift of 110m, which can provide sufficient pressure and large-flow water source for the low-pressure sprinkling system.

  • Convenient control: The spray nozzles of each pipeline (except the rear water cannon) are controlled by pneumatic ball valves with air pressure regulating devices, and other functions are controlled by manual ball valves, which are easy to operate and highly practical.

  1. Function introduction:

    The low-pressure flushing part is composed of left and right front sprays, conical rear counter flushes, left and right rear sprinkles, upper and lower sprays, greening water cannons and other devices. Nozzles, sprinklers, water cannons and other components adopt leading brand parts in the industry. The front duckbill is with a universal joint structure, the upper spray sprinklers are stainless steel high-pressure sprinklers, equipped with standard fire-fighting interfaces and water pipes, the water pump water inlet is with a metal filter three-way valve, the water pump water outlet is with an external water pipe ball valve, and a water discharge ball valve is set at the lowest point of the main pipeline to meet the water discharge demand in winter.

The rear water cannon with 360° rotation can be set to discharge water in column or mist shape with a maximum range of more than 40 meters.
Manual ball valves for external pipelines are installed on the greening water cannon pipeline, including one DN50 and one DN25 ball valve, which is convenient for users to connect external water pipes.

4.5 Upper Body Power and Control System

  1. The special working device system adopts a CAN bus control system, which can display the working state in real time and realize speed regulation control through a knob.

  2. Equipped with a low water level voice alarm device and a water shortage automatic shutdown function to prevent the water pump from running without water and improve the service life of the water pump.

  3. Standard winter water discharge function: After the winter operation, start the working device, operate the one-key water discharge button in the cab, and automatically realize the sequential opening and closing actions of all valves in the waterway to discharge the residual water in all waterways.

Adopting an integrated unit of 30kW permanent magnet synchronous motor directly connected with the water pump and motor-electric control integration.
